Planning a wedding can sometimes feel like you are running a million miles a minute in 20 different directions. So let’s break down a few “easily forgotten” but “extremely important” items to remember before your wedding day!
Have you planned what your wedding party will eat for breakfast and lunch on the day of your wedding? Mimosas are fun but not on an empty stomach! Remember to pack a few cases of water too.
Where are you staying the night before your wedding and the night of your wedding?
Okay, hear us out…Have you tried sitting in your dress? Alterations made the dress fit perfectly while you’re standing, but just make sure you are comfortable sitting in it too.
Are you wearing the same shoes all night or are you changing for the reception? Ask your planner or Maid of Honor to put them under your chair if you plan to change after your first dance! (And remember socks if you are bringing sneakers)
Who is bringing cake plates and forks? We always have a knife and server on hand, but make sure you have a plan for how to serve it.
- Does your final guest count include you and your fiance?
Practice your dip & kiss before the wedding!
Pull cash for security payment and vendor gratuity. Place the cash in a sealed envelope for each vendor and write their name on the front.
Going on a honeymoon? Pack your bags a week before your wedding so you can double and triple check that you remembered everything (Don’t forget your passport!).
Last but not least, does your dress have buttons? Pack a crochet hook in your overnight bag so you can easily change at the end of the night.
