As a wedding planner, I try to tour different venues in and around the area. Last week I had the pleasure of touring the breathtaking Where Dreams Come True Wedding Venue. The venue is located on a secluded peninsula of Lake Ray Roberts and is nestled amongst gorgeous oak trees and beautiful landscapes. Lisa & her husband Steve were so gracious to invite me over for a tour as well as a delicious home cooked meal. As soon as I stepped foot into there home, I was in awe for the next hour. I walked around the whole venue and everything from the wood floors to gorgeous staircase inside (perfect for a ‘first look’) to the stone walkway leading to the patio outside. The entire place has ‘perfect wedding venue’ written all over it. Dream of a wedding planner.
Lisa and her husband live at the venue but you would never know. Their home is immaculate and once you see the photos below I know you will agree. On second thought you should just contact Lisa today and schedule a tour for yourself! If you are lucky she might even make you dinner!
One of my favorite things about Lisa and her husband is that she is living out her dream. She has always had a passion for entertaining and her decorating skills are better than some of the folks on HGTV. I am not joking! They purchased the venue in October of 2016 and since then have done major renovations. If you take a tour similar to mine you will see the views both Lisa and Steve wake up to daily, its straight from a magazine, seriously! You will see the beautiful bridal suite and a downstairs area perfect for the groomsmen. Best of all, regardless if you want an indoor or outdoor wedding, they do all the setup! Again, another dream of a wedding planner.
Lisa and Steve have the tables and chairs on site and can set the venue to whatever liking you choice. Personally me I loved the white gazebo in the front yard. I would put down a runner and have my goddaughter toss out some rose petals just before I walk outside and down the aisle. Worried about rain? They have a plan for that as well! An indoor wedding can fit about 90. Your guests are sure to feel comfortable and cozy at Where Dreams Come True.

The good thing about Where Dreams Come True is that they host one event per weekend, so the rental price you pay is from Friday to Sunday, no one wants to rush on their wedding day! Prices are listed on the website but if you contact me prior, I can happily reach out to Lisa on your behalf. After all, it is what a wedding planner does! Lisa and I are similar in the fact that we both want our brides (and grooms) to have the most perfect day, if we can do anything to make the booking process easier we will gladly do so!
