We are entering the Spring Wedding Season and about to be SO busy. We feel honored to celebrate with some many couples in the coming months. Throughout the planning process we have seen many trends and we thought we would share with you:

1. Outdoor Wedding Venues:

This is a trend that is here to stay, especially in Texas! So many venues have stunning outdoor ceremony locations and April/May is the best time to get married outside. The weather will likely be warmer but not too hot and the grass is turning green and lush. With the sunset at the later hour the ceremony can start as late at 6pm as well. 2: Display Walls/ Creative Seating Charts:

Our couples are getting so creative and we are all about it!! We have seen so many creative ideas and it makes a statement as guests walk into the wedding reception. So many of these ideas (the wine self) have even been photo backdrops, how fun is that?!

3. Natural Color Palette:

Blush, White & Greenery is a super popular (& super classy) color palette for spring weddings! With the florals in full bloom these colors are sure to be a hit at any wedding. With the sunset being later in the evening we are also seeing more black and white (can you get more elegant?) and we LOVE it. It sets such an upscale vibe and we often recommend putting ‘semi formal’ or ‘black tie’ on your invites to keep the vibe going. Check out these two below and let us know which one you would pick?

4. Mismatched Dresses:

Is this first look with the bridesmaids not the cutest ever?! The dresses are all different but they go together so well! We love when our brides let their wedding party pick out their own style as everyone has a different (but beautiful) body. Check out some of our favorite sites below for the #bridetribe

5. Dessert Bar Ideas:

Cake is becoming a thing of the past! Many of our couples are opting for dessert bars or another option for an after dinner snack. Not everyone loves cakes and that is OK, it is your wedding and you can make it all about you. There are so many options now from cheesecakes, to donuts to mini cupcakes and more.
