Wedding Items in Your Budget Couples Often Overlook

According to The Knot, the Average overall cost of a Texas Wedding is $30,200. We get asked ALL the time about Wedding Budgets and no two weddings have been the same. The above statement doesn’t factor in guest count, venue and food costs as well as wedding priorities.
Things to consider:
When staring to plan with a couple, we often ask, What is most important to both of you? Sometimes that is food, music, florals but it is often different for each couple. 1. Stationery/Printing/ Stamps
Couples will be sending out Save the Dates, Invites, Engagement Party and Bridal Shower Invites and all that needs stamps (sometimes two) Printing items like your seating chart, welcome sign, table numbers, and bar signs all need to be included in your wedding budget.
2. Personal Flowers
Adding in the cost for the bridal bouquet and centerpieces isn’t enough anymore, be sure to consider flowers for the wedding party/ family and of course the cake!
3. Wedding Dress Alternations
Adding in a bustle or shortening the dress by a few inches is often a few hundred dollars, keep that in mind when picking your dream dress!
4. Gifts for the Wedding Party
If you are ordering custom robes or personalized cups, gifts for the wedding party need to be included as well. We are a fan of item they can use/wear on the wedding day!
5. Transportation
